Skissernas Skulpturpark

In recent years, Surprise Lab has held wood sculpture workshops in Näsby.

For 10 days, invited artists, sculptors, craftspeople and architects from different parts of the Nordic and Baltic countries have worked together, shared experiences and built new knowledge.

The sculptures have then been exhibited in

Grönhögen during July and August. Several artists have chosen to leave their objects here on the island, and we are slowly building Skissernas Sculpture Park. We want to show them to as many people as possible and are gradually placing the works in locations on southern Öland that are accessible around the clock.

We call them sketches because if we had a real commission, we would spend much more time on the work.

Under de senaste åren har Surpriselabgenomfört träskulpturworkshops i Näsby.

Under 10 dagar har inbjudna konstnärer, skulptörer, konsthantverkare och arkitekter från olika delar av Norden och Baltikum jobbat tillsammans, delat erfarenheter och byggt nya kunskaper.

Skulpturerna har sedan varit utställda i Grönhögen under juli och augusti. Flera väljer att lämna kvar sina objekt här på ön och sakta håller vi på att bygga Skissernas Skulpturpark.Vi vill visa dom för många och håller sakta på att placera ut verken på södra Öland på platser som är tillgängliga dygnet runt.

Vi kallar det skisser eftersom om vi hade ett riktigt uppdrag skulle vi lägga mycket mer tid på arbetet.
